The challenge
Our Crew were looking to partner with a digital solutions company in order to create a platform that would enable them to manage over 2,000 short contract staff. The company brought to light a gap in the market for a solution that would revolutionise events management by providing efficient, effective and intuitive control over meal allocation for organisers at the UK's largest scale events and television productions.
The turning point
The Our Crew solution is a comprehensive software as a service (SaaS) product to help with the management of large events. We worked alongside the Our Crew team to grow their idea from a meal allocation system into the all in one management solution.

Feed Our Crew
Using React Native, the crew app offers a cost-saving solution to crew food management. Generation of pre-event reports meant that the catering teams knew what to prepare for, in turn leading to a minimisation of food wastage. Post-event data was analysed to calculate and reduce wasted meals and much more moving forwards.
By adding dietary requirements to the system prior to the festival, crew members received appropriate meals in a seamlessly, and with minimal hassle throughout the festival.
Control Our Crew
Using RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) passes, OurCrew took the pain out of managing access. On an individual basis or by group, event managers had the ability assign specific access rules to all crew quickly.
Protect Our Crew
Prior to being onsite, the health & safety document was sent out to the crew. The online questionnaire that goes with it ensures a thorough understanding of the requirement.
On arrival onsite, the Health & Safety team with greet them and be notified that this crew member has successfully completely the questionnaire.
