intosport Mobile Apps

We have built a series of 3 native apps. We’ve done iPhone and iPad as well as Android phone and tablet versions. The first batch are available now on the App Store and Play Store. They’re all linked to the upcoming intosport.com video website and allow you to take your tennis videos offline to the tennis courts.

They are feature-full apps with playlists, in-app purchasing, syncing, usage stats among many other things. We’ve used RubyMotion for the iOS versions. RubyMotion is a fantastic development framework for iOS (and now Android) which allows us to use all the Ruby goodness in the iOS ecosystem. We ended up using Java for the Android development which works great.

We built this for a Cambridge-based company called High Altitude Media. They are a leading producer of video content, web destinations and apps for sport & exercise. We’re really proud of what we’ve produced for High Altitude Media who’ve had this vision for a while now.
