A bluetooth app making it fun to work out
In 2018, we partnered with Micore to produce a mobile app which allows engaging home workouts by integrating with their custom built light board.

The challenge
Innovative entrepreneurs Micore had the vision of an intelligent piece of workout equipment that, when paired with a bluetooth application, would allow interactive and fun workouts for the user. Micore came to us with this vision, and we began working on creating an app that could integrate seamlessly and effectively with their custom piece of hardware - the light board.
The turning point
The light board prompts you to tap it and the app shows you what to do and gives you visibility of your progress through the workout.
The light board’s intelligent technology enabled visibility of progress and pre-recorded motivating instructions from a personal trainer throughout the workout. Armed with our bluetooth integration expertise, we began development.
The MiPT Bluetooth App
Working closely alongside Micore, we developed the MiPT Fitness App, an intuitive app that enabled users to get the best out of their light board.
MiPT is a family-friendly fitness platform, that encourages users to share workouts and results with friends. The app is compatible with the Apple Watch, making the platform even more accessible and delivering available results to users.
The Azuki team quickly grasped the concept and were able to outline what could be achieved via the app and wearables. Not only were they technically knowledgeable, they were also really agile even being able to pivot mid project when external factors changed.
The result
Micore had the revolutionary concept of integrating their custom light board with a workout app that would enable encourage users to workout at home. Through a partnership with Azuki, we were able to deliver an app that generated real results.
